We believe that taking an active role in our Community is vital to the success and balance of our business. Through the allocation of a percentage of each quarter profits we support West Australian charities which include:

Youth Focus

Youth Focus is a West Australian, non-profit community based organization committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. Youth Focus provides range of early intervention and prevention services free of charge, aimed at supporting young people and their families to overcome issues associated with suicide, depression and self harm. Each office is staffed by a Youth Counselor who can draw on the resources of Family Counselors in Perth. In addition to seeing clients in their offices the counselors are available for outreach within their catchment area.

The RSPCA

On a National and local level we provide funding for the RSPCA. We are important Platinum Sponsors of the annual Million Paws Walk and throughout the year we also hold a number of internal fundraising events in support of this worthwhile Society.

 

Challis Early Childhood Education Centre

Challis Early Childhood Education Centre (Challis ECEC) is an early years government school in a low socio-economic suburb south of Perth. Challis supports underprivileged children from birth to 4 yrs of age. Of the 650 students combined, 20% are Indigenous kids. The rest are a combination of non indigenous underprivileged children, children who are victims of domestic violence or whose parents are incarcerated and children with parents who have drug or alcohol addictions.

 

Each Charity has an appointed “Champion” within our company and their willing and motivational work is fundamental to our efforts in raising funds and engaging volunteers.

Whilst providing very important funding for our chosen Charities, we also build a sense of community within our own ranks with staff volunteering their own time and seeing the outcome of their service improve the lives of others.

We are proud to have the opportunity to associate the name of Fugro-TSM with these important Community cornerstones.
